an ancient yogic technology, and is often referred to as the “Yoga of Self Awareness”. The Kundalini yoga tradition uses a combination of breath, movement, and sound. The repetitious movement allows the practitioner to tap into their true self to find what is is referred to as “SAT NAM”.
This dynamic practice allows a person to access their kundalini energy that is said to reside in the base of the spine . By practicing various sets called “Kriyas” the Kundalini is awakened and then this energy travels up the spine through the Chakras removing any stagnation so this vital energy can flow freely.
The effects of kundalini practice vary with each person, however many who practice regularly have experienced profound changes in their emotional wellbeing and their physical stamina. Most people experience heightened sense of self awareness, and a consistent feeling of wellbeing. Also noted is an increase in physical strength, expanded lung capacity, and an increase in vital energy and radiance.
Every class is unique. Each set focuses on different chakras and organ and glandular systems.
